Editors of Telugu News Channels held a meeting recently at Hyderabad Press Club to discuss about the non-cooperation from Telugu Film Industry. Upon passing a resolution unanimously, A press release has been issued by Media Honchos. Have a look at it...
Few Film Celebs have warned that News Channels will be banned from May 2nd. This is undemocratic!
Activities of News Channels are carried out as per law and guidelines. Whereas, Film Personalities are attacking Media by politicizing the issue. The situation is such that there is a confusion whether the person who is speaking belongs to Film Industry or Politics.
Film/Political Leaders are using the caste card and making their followers attack Media due to their immaturity and ignorance.
Instead of addressing Casting Couch, Attempts were made to attack the Media.
Nothing wrong about News Channels offering a platform for Sri Reddy and others to express their pain.
If capable, Film Industry need to find solutions for the questions raised by Sri Reddy.
Looks like, Film Personalities launched this attack out of fear. They might be diverting the issue in this manner to protest themselves from Casting Couch. Trying to curtail press freedom isn't a wise thing to do.
