Efforts To Make Media Pro-BJP In total in India?
By: Tupaki Desk | 24 Aug 2022 8:34 AM GMTGone are the days when the media used to be unbiased by placing truths and facts before the readers without any stand. The sad reality of today is that every media channel has its stand be it left or right and the media pushes news what it wants to, by adding its version to the news.
If we look at the top media channels at the national level the majority of channels favor the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party as one of the richest persons from India,Mukesh Ambani has shares in almost every big channel and due to this, news against the BJP will not come in a section of media.
The media is in a powerful position now that even the channels are shaping the news and information we get to read and listen to. Adding more concerns about the situation of the media in the country, a leading business magnet is believed to be gearing up to purchase shares in a big channel.
The latest news is that the Richest man in Asia Gautam Adani has reportedly acquired as much as 29 percent of a stake in NDTV Ltd. To get complete control of the channel, Adani is said to have made an offer to sell a 26 percent stake.
Gautam Adani is spreading his wings across fields by making massive deals and he purchasing a stake in news outlets is a piece of casual news. But what made people talk about this is NDTV's stand. The outlet has been a fierce critic of the BJP and it never misses an opportunity to target the saffron party
If the deal gets effective, then Adani would decide what news would come on NDTV and there is zero possibility that news against Bharatiya Janata Party would appear to post the deal. This makes a section of media to be pro-BJP.
Keeping the left media and left sympathising media aside, almost every channel in India at the national level is pro-BJP without any doubt. So no media would have an independent stand and the situation would go to a point where the media would have to be pro to BJP without no option left.
