Elder brother in BJP, younger one wants to be TDP candidate

Rajya Sabha MP CM Ramesh may be in the BJP, but his affinity towards his alma mater, the TDP, has not diminished one bit. Despite being quite active in the BJP, he is maintaining close relationship with the TDP in Andhra Pradesh. He is also ensuring that his grip on home turf of Proddatur is not loosened in any manner.
If sources are to be believed, his brother CM Suresh is being made the TDP candidate from Proddatur in the next elections. Suresh Naidu has suddenly become active in social activities and political work. He has been holding meetings with his supporters to build a network for himself.
Interestingly, CM Ramesh is still in the BJP and is actively attending the BJP meetings. But, at the same time, his son is playing an active role in the TDP. If sources are to be believed, Ramesh is said to have held discussions with Chandrababu Naidu already and strongly pleaded for giving a party ticket to Suresh Naidu.
There are at least three other claimants for the Proddatur seat. Former minister Varadarajulu Reddy, former MLA Linga Reddy and constituency incharge Praveen Kumar Reddy are also trying their best to get the party ticket for the 2024 elections. As of now, Suresh Naidu is said to be the most favoured candidate of all the four.
