MLA dies before taking oath

In an unfortunate incident a MLA who elected to Assembly on the recently concluded Tamilnadu elections died on Wednesday even before taking oath. S M Seenivel, who elected to the state Assembly from Tirupparankundram constituency, died on Wednesday few hours.
The MLA suffered heart stroke just a day before results were announced . He was admitted in provate hospital and breathed his last today. The MLA is survived by wife, three daughters and a son.
Seenivel was scheduled to take oath on Wednesday at the start of the first session of the 15th Tamil Nadu assembly. Chief Minister Jayalalithaa expressed grief over death and condoled the demise of Seenivel. A similar type of incident was happened exactly five years ago five years ago when the State Assembly was to meet for its first session.A by-election will likely be called for in Thiruparankundram constituency.
