Election Commission issues schedule for Tirupati, Nagarjuna Sagar bypoll

The election schedule for two much-awaited polls, Tirupati by polls and Nagarjuna Sagar bypolls has been announced the Election Commission.Both the constituencies will go for the polls on the 17th of April.The election schedule for the polls will be issued on the 23rd of this month.
According to the election schedule, the candidates can file their nominations till the 30th of this month.The nominations will be scrutinized on March 31st and the candidates can withdraw their nominations till April 3.The elections will be held on April 17th and the election result will be out on May 2.
Both the elections will see the ruling and opposition parties locking horns at the battle field.While the ruling parties want to win their sitting positions, opposition wants to claim the seats by taking on the government in respective States.The seats fell vacant after the MP and MLA in Tirupati and Nagarjuna Sagar breathed their lives.
