Clarity Over Early Polls On September 11th

Election Commission of India (EC) declared that Final Voter List in Telangana will be published on October 8th, 2018.
EC had suspended the ongoing revision process of the electoral rolls due to the dissolution of the Telangana State Assembly on September 6th.
Rajat Kumar, who is the Chief Electoral Officer of Telangana, announced that integrated draft electoral roll will be published on September 10th. 'Any claims or objections can be brought to the notice of EC from September 10th to 25th. Disposal of claims and objections would be taken up on October 4th. Database Updation will be completed by October 7th. Final Publication of the Electoral Roll is on October 8th,' he said.
Anybody who will attain the legal age of 18 by January 1st, 2019 will be eligible for the submission of application seeking entry of name in the voter list. Even those who attained the legal age by January 1st, 2018 can still request inclusion of their names.
Election Commission has given enough indications about Early Polls either in November or December 2018. Election Commission of India will send a team to Telangana on September 11th to study preparedness of State Election Commission to conduct Early Polls.
