Amitabh is the new BCCI President?

In the wake of Jagmohan Dalmiya sudden demise due to cardiac arrest, Plans were afoot to elect the next BCCI President. Informal meetings were conducted by Cricket Associations of various states in the past two days for the mission.
East Zone units have gone a step ahead and named joint secretary of Jharkhand Amitabh Chaudhary as its candidate for BCCI President Elections. Amitabh Chaudhary is an IPS Officer and part of Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) Management. East Zone is very particular one of its member has to be BCCI Chief till 2017.
Sharad Pawar and Rajeev Shukla have also been in race for BCCI's Numero Uno position. Neither of these seasoned politicians will have a cake walk. Especially Sharad Pawar who will be facing a strict opposition from Dalmiya-dominant units. If at least one of these influential personalities takes up the challenge, there will be an election for sure instead of unanimous selection.
