Election Schedule For MPTC and ZPTC is Out

Going by the reports, the meeting held by the Election Commissioner Ramesh Kumar at a high level has resulted in a chance of holding the elections for sarpanch, MPTC, ZPTC and Municipality at a time reportedly.
The High-Level meeting was attended by Panchayat Raj and police officials reportedly. It has been reported that the officials of Panchayat Raj and Municipal officials were also present at the meeting.
In this order, the Election Schedule of MPTC and ZPTC was issued by the election commission. The schedule states that the election notification by the State Election Commission will be issued on 7 March 2020 for Phase one and the second phase will be issued on 10 March 2020.
The returning officer will issue the Election Notice for Phase 1 and Phase 2 on 9th March and 12th March respectively. While the last day for the receipt of Nominations will be 9th March-11th March for Phase-1 and 12th march-14th March for Phase 2.
13th March and 16th March will mark the last day to appeal against the rejection of Nomination before the Revenue Division Officer or District Collector will be for Phase 1 and Phase 2 respectively.
Talking about the Municipal Election Schedule the election notification will be issued on March 13 and the last day to Withdrawal of Candidates will be on 20th March before 3:00 p.m. and the results of the elections will be declared on March 29th.
