Election Siren for Tirupati Bypoll, another intense fight at ballot box fight!

The election notification for the forthcoming Tirupati by-election has been announced. As per the notification, the nominations will be accepted till the 30th of this month and the nominations will be scrutinized on March 31st.
The candidates can withdraw their nominations till the 3rd of April. The by-election for the temple city will commence on April 17. The vote counting will take place on May 2 and the results will be announced on the same day.
The political parties have taken the by-election seriously and already started their groundwork to attract the voters and win the by-poll. The parties have called for a mechanism to focus on attracting the voters.
The ruling YSRCP has announced Dr. M. Gurumurthy, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's personal physiotherapist as the party candidate for the Tirupati by-elections, party's sitting position.
On the other hand, the opposition TDP announced Dr. Panabaka Lakshmi, former member of Lok Sabha, Union Minister as the party candidate. The BJP-Janasena alliance is yet to announce its candidate. Just like GHMC polls, Janasena was once again forced to stay out of polls and restricted to remain as a supporting force of BJP.
