Elon Musk has been saying that he wants to make the platform a free one. As another big step, Elon Musk is believed to be in the plan to charge a certain amount for the verification process of blue ticks.
If we have to take anything from the US media reports, Elon Musk reportedly asked a team of engineers to prepare a prototype for the Twitter blue tick verification process. The blue tick process might be chargeable and would also have some perks like editing the tweets and undoing the tweets.
The blue tick account holders are likely to pay a certain amount to the platform every month. Not just that only limited members would be given the perk of having a blue tick and the users who don't follow the rules might lose the blue tick.
