Employees At NTR Trust Bhavan Sends A Letter To Kcr To Cancel The Lease Agreement
By: Tupaki Desk | 1 July 2021 6:55 AM GMTThe Grand-old Telugu Desam Party(TDP), which is going through one of the worst crises since its inception, faced a big blow after the employees of the NTR Trust Bhavan had written to the Chief Minister demanding to cancel the lease of the building reportedly.
NTR Trust Bhavan, located in the posh Banjara Hills acted as the headquarters for the TDP party until erstwhile Andhra Pradesh was made into two states- Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
After Telangana was carved out of the combined state, TDP shifted its base to Andhra Pradesh, while only a few leaders stayed back in Telangana. However, just like Andhra, TDP went on becoming weak in Telangana too.
As per the media reports, the employees at the NTR Trust have written to CM KCR on TDP Letterhead urging to cancel the lease agreements saying that no social activities are taking place at the building.
They reportedly alleged that the building was given to rent for a call centre company. They even said that they are not receiving PF or other ESI benefits.
It has to be noted that earlier reports claimed that KCR is in plans to cancel the lease agreement. With the employees reportedly writing to KCR, it is interesting to know how the Telangana government responds to this.
