Employees Lock AP Ministers Peshi Over Delay In Salaries!

For a very long time, we have been hearing that Andhra Pradesh's financial position is not good and the employees are not getting salaries and other benefits on time. The state employees have been fighting for their demands. Saying that they voted for the party believing their issues would be sorted out, employees are fighting for their demands.

Now a Cabinet Minister is said to have faced the wrath of the employees over the delay in salaries. Not happy with the delay in salaries, the employees reportedly locked the Minister's Peshi. The alleged issue came to light when the Peshi was not opened on Monday.

Andhra Pradesh Cinematography Minister Chelluboyina Srinivasa Venugopalakrishna faced the wrath as per the media reports. It is said that employees are not getting salaries for around seven months and to show their dissatisfaction with this, they are said to have locked the Minister's Peshi.

The Contract employees are said to have done this. Having waited for around seven long months for salaries, the employees decided to take the fight to the next level and locked his peshi. When the authorities reached the office they found that the peshi was locked and asked what happened.

When they contacted the employees who are believed to have done this, they said that they cannot work further without employees as they have to take care of expenses and other responsibilities. They gave an ultimatum that they will not open the room unless the salaries are paid.

The new incident is another example of how problematic the situation had become. Be it government employees or contracted employees, they get salaries on time as employees are taken on an outsourcing basis. But the situation in Andhra Pradesh is different and employees are not getting salaries on this.

Earlier, we heard reports that people who gave their buildings on rent to the village secretariats locked them as the dues were not cleared. While a few owners opened the locks with assurance, a few others made sure that the dues were cleared. Now another example popped up to show how problematic the state's financial situation is.
