Jinnah Tower located in Andhra Pradesh landed in a bid controversy after the AP wing of BJP and a few Hindu groups have raised a new demand that the centre should be named after former President of India A. P. J. Abdul Kalam.
Tension gripped the Jinnah Tower centre when a few Hindu group activists were arrested by the Police when they made a failed attempt to unfurl the tricolor at the centre. The AP BJP leaders have been raising a demand to rename it and unfurl the national flag.
Amid the tense situation, the Jinnah Tower was reportedly painted in tricolur. The News Agency ANI said that the tower was painted and a flag was also hoisted near the tower. The pictures of Jinnah Tower are now going viral.
