End Of The Road For Bonthu Rammohan?

Is it the end of the road for GHMC's incumbent mayor Bonthu Rammohan? He wanted Uppal MLA seat, but was denied. He lobbied for MLC post, but KCR did not nominate him. As of now, he is a lame duck mayor, who is in power till February 10, but has no real authority. His wife Sridevi Yadav did win from Cherlapalli as a corporator, but with a largely reduced majority. There appears to be no chance of her becoming a mayor.
So, where does all this leave Bonthu Rammohan? Sources close to him say that he was initially considered for the Hyderabad-Rangareddy-Mahabubnagar graduate MLC seat. However, given the bad performance of the TRS in the GHMC elections, the party is now having second thoughts over putting up Bonthu as a candidate. This leaves Bonthu with nothing. His political career clearly has hit a road block.
The party is yet to announce its candidate for the Hyderabad-Rangareddy-Mahabubnagar graduate MLC seat. Meanwhile, the party has already said that sitting MLC Palla Rajeshwar Reddy would be the party's candidate for Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda Graduates Constituency. All this leaves Bonthu Rammohan and his political ambitions in the lurch.
