Social Media went wild after reports of an Error on new currency notes with Rs 2000 denomination.

As per few netizens, There was a printing mistake on the back side of Rs 2000 currency note by pointing out 'don hazaar rupaiye' which appeared at two places. While some people have come up with the versions that it could be Marathi or Konkani.

Actually, The new Rs 2000 note is being written as 'don hazaar rupaiye' in Devanagari script. But, People assumed it was a spelling mistake in Hindi.

On the back side of Rs 2000 note, Value of the currency has been written in as many as 15 languages. The printing of currency notes was done as per Reserve Bank of India (RBI) guidelines.
