Etela's episode gives momentum to demand for inquiry on Malla Reddy and KTR

The land-grabbing allegations leveled against Telangana Health Minister Etela Rajender has sent shocking waves across the state. The issue is currently the much-talked-about topic.
As a fresh development, he lost his portfolio and the same has been allotted to Chief Minister KCR. The recommendation has got a nod from the state Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan.
Etela row gave momentum to the demand call for an inquiry into allegations faced by other leaders like KTR, Malla Reddy, and a few others. A few leaders are seeing the episode as an attack on Etela Rajender and raising the demand to order an inquiry against other leaders too.
Extending support to Etela Rajender in this episode, TJS chief, Professor Kodandaram alleged that people who fought in the Telangana movement were being sidelined in the state. The inquiry was announced after he spoke against CM KCR. It's high time, the activists should come together as a force to bring down KCR from the CM post, Kodandaram said.’
Joining the force, Congress leader, Member of Legislative Council Jeevan Reddy came in support of Etela Rajender, who was sacked from the Cabinet and made sensational comments on KCR.
Jeevan Reddy alleged that removing Etela was part of the game to make KTR the Chief Minister of Telangana. Thinking that he might be an obstacle for this, he was removed from his post, Reddy said.
Saying that Etela Rajender had rightfully earned all his assets, Jeevan Reddy demanded that the current assets of the KCR family should be compared to the assets mentioned in the 2004 election affidavit and an inquiry should be conducted on this.
Telangana BJP MP Aravind has made sensational comments in this row. Responding to the rumors of Etela wearing the saffron shawl, the MP said, the decision whether or not to invite Etela into BJP lies with the leadership of the party.
Etela Rajender is the only member in the Telangana Cabinet that works effectively. Irrespective of the party he belongs to, the BJP will not entertain people, who indulge in corruption and other activities.
