Etela gets online survey about political future
By: Tupaki Desk | 7 May 2021 3:13 AM GMTOusted Minister Etela Rajender is unusually silent these days. Ever since he fell out with the TRS boss, he is not revealing his mind. Realising that there could be TRS coverts among his associates, Etela is not speaking out his ideas. He is keeping cards close to his chest.
However, overseas supporters of Etela are not silent. They have held a meeting with Etela the other day via Zoom and discussed the political situation. Soon after the meeting, some NRIs have requisitioned the service of a famed online poll organization. The organization is now said to be conducting a survey on what people think Etela's options are. The organization has already contacted over 5000 persons and elicited their opinions. An estimated 41.5 per cent of the respondents wanted Etela to launch a new political party, while 35.7 have voted in favour of joining the BJP. 15.51 per cent wanted him to join the Congress Party. Interestingly, 7.75 per cent of the respondents still feel that the TRS is the right place for Etela to stay in.
Meanwhile, former MP and moneybag Konda Vishweshwar Reddy met Etela on Thursday. While what transpired between them is not known, there is a strong buzz that Konda is likely to launch a new political party in association with Etela Rajender.
