Etela tenders his resignation letter to Assembly Speaker

cvaccineIn a big development, former Minister Etela Rajender has resigned from his MLA post on Saturday. Etela tendered his resignation letter to the Telangana Assembly speaker's office.
Before resigning as MLA, Etela reached the iconic Gun Park and paid tributes to the martyrs, who made the ultimate sacrifice in the Telangana agitation.
Etela visited the Assembly Speaker Office and handed over his resignation letter to Secretary. The resignation letter was submitted in speaker format.
Addressing the media after resigning as MLA, Etela Rajender said, Huzurabad elections will witness a face-off between Kauravas and Pandavas. I am resigning as MLA with the blessing of the people, he said.
He added that people are with him as allegations were leveled against him despite being in the public for 14 years as a legislator. I have fought for Telangana in Assembly in combined Andhra Pradesh, he said.
Etela Rajender is likely to join the BJP camp on the 14th of this month at the national capital. Along with Etela, a few other leaders are also expected to switch sides to BJP from TRS.
