Etela To Sit Opposite To The People He Kept Company For Years
By: Tupaki Desk | 10 Nov 2021 5:02 AM GMTFrom Renegade to rebel to a winner of the most prestigious electoral battle , Eatala Rajender is all set to take oath as an MLA in Telangana legislative assembly. Walking through the lobbies of the assembly and raising to speak in the assembly are not new to Eatala. He had done it for six terms so far. The only difference lies on which side of the speaker he is now.
Earlier, he was a ruling party member and now he would be sitting opposite the ruling party. He has backed the government till now and from now on, he would be ripping apart the acts of omission and commission of the same government. No wonder, his words would keenly be watched now.
He is the first anti-KCR leader who will enter the assembly with such a huge winning margin. The BJP did strike gold when Raghunandan Rao had won from Dubbak. But, the majority was just around 1000 votes. But Eatala’s victory margin is well over 24000 votes. It would be interesting to see how he would attack his former boss in the assembly. There is a buzz that Eatala, who is now a seven-time MLA and three-time minister, will be made the leader of the BJP legislature party.
Meanwhile, Eatala's health Ministry has now been given to Harish Rao, who was entrusted with the responsibility of defeating Eatala in the Huzurabad bypolls. He has been unofficially working as the health minister. Now he has been given full charge of the ministry. Thus a fight between the present and the former health ministry would be interesting to watch.
