Former MLA, ex-Telangana Cabinet member Etela Rajender, who was once a close-aide of TRS Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrashekhar Rao took against his party in the recent Huzurabad by-elections. With a big margin of over 23,000 votes, Etela Rajender, a BJP leader now, defeated Gellu Srinivas Yadav in the high-intense fight.

Making his election win a special one in his career, the Telangana wing of Bharatiya Janata Party is making elaborate arrangements to welcome him. Etela Rajender is visiting the BJP main office in Hyderabad on Saturday. The party cadre is busy making arrangements for the same.

As per the media reports, Etela will reach the BJP office as a rally from Shamirpet. It is said that Etela Rajender's rally that was named Telangana Aatma Gourava Vijayotsava Rally will pass through Tummikunta, Alwal, Paradise, Rani Gunj, Gun Park areas.

Before reaching the BJP office, Etela Rajender will pay tributes at the Telangana Martyrs Memorial at Gun Park. After paying tributes to the Martyrs who made the ultimate sacrifice during the agitation to have a separate Telangana state, Etela Rajender will reach the office.

Now all eyes are on Etela Rajender to see what he has to say. As he is at the loggerheads with KCR, we might expect some firecrackers from the firebrand leader. After the election result, Etela Rajender had termed the win as a slap to KCR's rule.

On the flip side, the media reports are abuzz that Etela Rajender is likely to be projected as the Chief Minister candidate in the next general elections. He might give clarity on this. In just a few hours, the speculations on what Etela has to say will be cleared.

The Telangana wing of BJP, which is not leaving any stone unturned to spread its wings in the state is banking high on the by-election result and believing that it had attained the status of alternative in Telangana politics.

However, ruling TRS had accepted the defeat and said, they will work hard not to get affected by the by-poll result. Hitting back at BJP, TRS said with just one win, the party's image cannot be estimated.
