Even Cops Refuse To Intervene When Markaz-Returned Man's Relatives Attack doctors

In a truly shocking incident, the relatives of a deceased Corona patient attacked the doctors, who toiled hard to save the patient. The despicable incident occurred in Gandhi Hospital in Secunderabad on Wednesday night, where Corona suspects are quarantined. The miscreants did not stop at attacking the doctors, they also damaged the equipment in the hospital.
A Corona patient was admitted to the Gandhi Hospital on March 25 in a critical condition. He was from Qutbullahpur and was among those who went to Delhi to attend the Markaz meet. The doctors were working day and night on the patient and tried to breathe life into the ptient. But, the patient succumbed last night. Suddenly, the relatives of the dead patient went berserk and damaged the equipment in the hospital and attacked the doctors. The doctors and the para medical staff had to run to safety and lock themselves up in a room .
Shockingly, three of the relatives of the deceased were also tested Corona positive and were admitted to the same hospital. Doctors allege that the three relatives too were among those who attacked them. The police, who rushed to the spot, hesitated in touching the angry relatives as they could have been infected by Corona. Finally the DCP had to step in and bring the situation under the control. The police said they would initiate stern action against the relatives who attacked the doctors.
