Even NRIs are campaigning in Warangal elections

Here's something that's quite interesting. NRIs usually take little interest in the happenings back in the home state. But these days things are a changing. The Telugus out there in the US and UK are now taking not just active interest but are also exhorting the voters to vote for their party even in local body elections.
TRS NRI unit in the UK has requested the people to vote for the TRS candidates in the upcoming elections to the municipal corporations of Greater Warangal and Khammam and municipalities of Siddipet, Atchampet, Nakrekal, Jadcharla and Kothur. Vice-president of the NRI TRS UK Naveen Reddy exhorted the people vote for the TRs in Warangal. He asked the people not to believe in the online and digital campaign of the BJP and asked them to support the TRS.
Interestingly, NRI TRS leaders Anil Kurmachalam, Ashok Dusari, S Chandrasekhar Goud, Satish Redy, Ch, Satyamurthy and Pruthvi Rao will campaign at the grassroots level, especially in Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation.
It often happens that some NRI activists back the party of their choice during the state or national level elections. But, here is the party unit which is campaigning for the TRS from faroff lands for division level voting. Will this work? Well! We need to wait and see if the global pracharam works for the local level polls.
