The national capital Delhi is one of the major metro cities in the country and the cost of living is also high there. Despite all this, Delhi has no good image when it comes to women's safety. The heinous Nirbhaya Crime left a big scar on the image of the city and it is even called as one of the unsafest places for women.

At regular intervals, we hear such spine-chilling incidents from Delhi. Recently we saw how a girl named Shraddha Walker was brutally killed and chopped by her live-in partner Aftab Poonawalla. The case is going on and the investigating agencies are unearthing new details in the case.

Now another shocking incident was reported from the national capital. Shockingly, the victim is a teenage girl. The school-going girl was attacked by two people who came on a bike and threw liquid on her face. The liquid is said to be acid.

After the attack, the victim developed serious injuries and was rushed to the nearby hospital for further treatment. The concerned authorities reached the hospital and are trying to gather information from the relatives and family of the victim about the suspects.

As the viral video shows the two attackers throwing acid at the girl as she is their target, there is a doubt that the attackers might be known to the victim. The concerned cops are reportedly probing the matter from this angel and trying to make a list of people who can attack the victim from her close circles.

The media reports say that one of the two accused was already arrested by the cops and the manhunt is on to nab the second accused. The incident became a sensation as the victim is a teenage girl and she is a school-going one.

The shocking incident raised a debate on the safety of women in the nation yet again. Many ask where the nation is heading as even teenage girls are also not safe in India. The Women's Commission and other bodies reacted strongly to the issue and said that the guilty should not be spared as what they did is not a small crime.
