CBI JD Lakshminarayana Resigns, To Enter Politics!

CBI Joint Director Lakshminarayana resigned to his post on Thursday. He served as Maharashtra Additional DGP until Today.
Lakshminarayana handled several high-profile cases during his term as CBI JD. He was in-charge of the investigation of YS Jaganmohan Reddy disproportionate assets case, EMAAR Properties case and Satyam Scam.
The resignation of Lakshminarayana came as a huge surprise for everyone. He could have been DGP by the time of retirement had if he remained in the service. Whereas, He wrote a letter to Maharashtra DGP seeking approval for VRS.
As per buzz, Lakshminarayana is going to make his political debut soon. He might be joining either Jana Sena Party or Bharatiya Janata Party in the near future.
