Making things worse for the grand old Congress party, veteran Congressman Ghulam Nabi Azad left the party and resigned from all the positions he used to hold in the party. The development has shaken the Congress party at once. For the past few days, it has been reported that Azad is not happy with the party and he might call it quits.
The reports appeared true and he left the party. In his lengthy letter, Ghulam Nabi Azad blamed the Gandhis for the bad shape of the Congress party. He accused the party leadership of ignoring the issues highlighted by the seniors in the party.
Now it is said that Ghulam Nabi Azad might focus on his region Kashmir. Reports say that Ghulam Nabi Azad would take the support of his friends and start a political party in Kashmir for a new future.
The speculations about Azad's future started at the time when the BJP is working on holding the Assembly polls in Kashmir which will mark the first polls after the removal of Article 370. The BJP wants to create a history of winning the maiden polls in the region.
