Ex-minister luckily escaped from road accident

Ex-Minister Pasupuleti Balaraju who handled the portfolio of Tribal Welfare has narrowly escaped from major accident and luckily survived with few injuries.The vehicle which he was travelling was overturned after the vehicle hit a tree near Mulagapudi village under Nathavaram mandal in the district on Thursday in wee hours.
Along with former minister P. Sathish Verma, the Visakhapatnam DCC President, also sustained stern injuries. The duo has been rushed to Narsipatnam area hospital for the treatment. The accident happened when they were on their way back to home after attending a marriage function. Balaraju suffered injuries on his head, legs.
Pasupuleti Balaraju was elected to the Andhra Pradesh legislative assembly from the Chintapalle constituency in 1989 and from Paderu constituency in 2009 in Visakhapatnam district .He became a minister in the cabinets of Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy and N. Kiran Kumar Reddy .
