Ex-PM Manmohan Singh gives suggestions to Modi on how to fight Corona crisis!

At the time when India is facing the wrath of the deadly impact of the novel Coronavirus, former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has written to serving Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
In the sensational letter, Manmohan Singh came up with some recommendations to fight the ongoing Coronavirus crisis.
The efforts should be taken to ramp up the vaccination drive against the Covid-19. Rather than focusing on the vaccine numbers, the focus should be on the percentage of the population vaccinated, Mr. Singh said in the letter.
'First, the government should publicise what are the firm orders for doses placed on different vaccine producers and accepted for delivery over the next six months. If we want to vaccinate a target number in this period, we should place enough orders in advance so that producers can adhere to an agreed schedule of supply,' the former PM said.
"The central government could retain 10 per cent for distribution based on emergency needs, but other than that, states should have a clear signal of likely availability so that they can plan their roll out," he added.
It's been more than one year, the people have been fighting with the novel Coronavirus. With the second wave of the virus hitting the country very hard, people want to know, when things will become normal, he said.
It has to be noted that the opposition Congress party has been accusing the Central government of not handing the Coronavirus situation right and blaming the Narendra Modi government fr mismanagement.
