Ex-TDP Men In BJP Pursuing Caste Agenda?

Is the Andhra Pradesh BJP a casteist party? Is one caste using the party for its own benefit and gain? Well! Doubts are being raised and they are very serious. In fact, the latest meeting of some top BJP leaders with former state election commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar is raising hackles within and outside the BJP.
The other day, there were reports that former minister and MP Sujana Chowdary met Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar in a hotel. The meeting was private, but the media got wind of it. What is a BJP leader doing with a controversial officer, whose proximity to the TDP is an open secret? But, it is clear that the meeting had the backing of some biggies from the same caste. Interestingly, it was BJP's Kamineni Srinivas who filed a case in the court seeking his reinstatement.
Doubts are now being expressed as to whether the leaders from 'the' caste though in the BJP are actually working for the caste interests. They seem to be united with the people from the same caste, say some analysts and political pundits. Is the BJP leadership in the state as well as the Centre taking note of this?
