Ex-TDP Minister Narayana Gets Relief From AP High Court!

The YSRCP government is confusing others with its stand on Amaravati. On one hand, it is trying its best to see that the capital city is not restricted to Amaravati alone and the state has three capitals. On the other hand, it is alleging that several irregularities took place in the land pooling.

The YCP has been alleging that land around the proposed capital was bought by the then-Telugu Desam Party leaders. After coming to power the case was given to the CID for a better probe. YCP MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy filed a petition alleging that former Minister Narayana is involved in this.

As a big twist, the Andhra Pradesh High Court directed the CID officers to not take any early actions and follow the directives under 41 A. Having said that the High Court posted the next hearing to three weeks away from today.

Alla Ramakrishna Reddy filed a case with the police alleging that Narayana indulged in irregularities in the alignment of the Inner Ring Road at Amaravati region. Based on that the case was given to the AP CID.'

Earlier, Narayana moved the High Court seeking the cancelation of the case against him as false allegations were leveled against him. Now the case was posted three weeks away. We have to wait and see what the court would say in the next hearing.

Amaravati was proposed as the capital city of divided Andhra Pradesh by the previous government. But the status quo changed when the government changed. YCP started a demand that the state should have three capitals for decentralisation of development.
