The Centre's move to arm the Telangana governor with exclusive powers in the joint capital region of Hyderabad not goes well with TRS leaders.Almost all leaders from the party fumed over the decision and expressed concerns over the central decision.

Ministers like KTR;Harish rao;nayini and Rajayya found fault with Narendra Modi and blamed Chandrababu for forcing his ally Prime minister to take such decision. Now KCR shot off the letter to Narendra Modi over the issue .

In a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday evening, Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao deeply expressed his concerns over transforming powers to Governor.

"I am greatly disturbed after receiving the letter which prescribes certain intrusive norms to be followed by the state government regarding the powers and functioning of the Telangana governor under the AP Reorganization Act. These norms go to the extent of asking the state government to follow certain procedure even in the posting of station house officers, ACPs and DCPs in Hyderabad." KCR said

"Any attempt to micro-manage the administration through the governor, bypassing the council of ministers of Telangana, is a direct affront to the federal polity of our country," the chief minister said.

"In the same way, section 8(3) of Andhra Pradesh State Reorganisation Act clearly mentions that in discharge of the functions, the governor shall after consulting the council of ministers of the state of Telangana, exercise his individual judgement as to the action to be taken," he wrote.

"I am sure this communication has been sent by the union home ministry without your approval and therefore appeal to you to look into the matter and order that these instructions be rescinded forthwith in accordance with the democratic traditions and conventions of our federal structure," KCR added.

Before that , Telangana chief secretary Rajiv Sharma wrote a letter to S Suresh Kumar, joint secretary, telling him in clear terms that the norms suggested by the Centre cannot be implemented.
