Failure of Exit Polls in Gujarat Elections 2017

Exit Polls give a clarity on how the polling trends could be like. People would reach a conclusion based on the projected numbers in these opinion polls. The whole country has been eagerly waiting to know how Gujarat Assembly Polls Results are gonna be like.
Whereas, Most of the Exit Polls announced by survey agencies & media houses were able to get accurate results. Few of them played a safe game by presenting min-max figures. Whereas, Five Exit Polls results came close the number of seats BJP and Congress are gonna bag.
At 12 PM, BJP is leading in 106 seats. Congress, on the other hand, gave it stiff competition by leading in 74 seats.
In the first few hours after the counting began, There was a neck-and-neck fight between BJP and Congress. But now, BJP gained substantial lead to win around 100 seats.

CSX-News X: BJP - 110 to 120 seats, Congress - 65 to 75 seats
NDTV: BJP - 112 seats, Congress - 70 seats
VMR: BJP 108 to 118 seats, Congress - 61 to 71
