Experts Opinion On Labeling Media In AP!

Media is a bridge between people parties and governments. The importance of media is very crucial in a democratic nation. Now the same media had landed in a big controversy. It is facing serious criticism in Andhra Pradesh. Media is also attracting criticism from the ruling and opposition parties. Many say that the trend is only present in AP. Everyone is wondering as the leaders from the ruling and opposition parties are targeting the media.
Media shows interest to cover the media briefing of YCP Ministers and TDP leaders. The TDP unofficially banned a few media houses like Sakshi saying that it is pro-YSRCP. They were also not invited to the official briefings. The same scene was repeated after the YCP came to power. Calling pro-TDP, a few media houses are banned.
Even the Assembly events are also not given live coverage. Adding fuel to this, a few YSRCP leaders are saying that Yellow media representtaives have no place here. Earlier, Minister Ambani Rambabu asked a media representative to leave which raised many eyeballs. Of late, the TDP leaders are also targeting pro-YCP media as blue media.
A big debate is going on in the state. Many ask how appropriate it is to label the media ahead of the elections. Experts say that if the parties have any issues with the owners of the media houses then they should deal with them directly rather than expressing anger at media representatives asking if they are a blue media member or yellow gang member.
