Explosion at Fire Cracker Godown: 6 Killed!

An explosion at the firecracker godown in Gokulapadu village of S Rayavaram mandal near Visakhapatnam on Sunday evening claimed the lives of 6 people.
Sources say, More than 15-20 people were inside the Godown at the time of blast. Fire engulfed the whole premises soon after the explosion and Fire Safety Personnel from neighboring villages were rushed to the spot to put off the blaze.
About 6 people died on spot and nearly 10 people got severely injured. The number of death could go up in the next few hours. Cause of the accident will be known only after the preliminary investigation.
In October Last Year, A similar blast took place in a firecracker manufacturing unit at Vakatippa village in East Godavari district. 12 People got injured and more than 10 people sustained severe injuries.
