Exposure to Outdoor Air pollution causes over 27 lakh deaths every year: A report

The survey conducted by famous Harward University and College of London University in collaboration with other bodies have found out that, 30 percent of annual deaths in India are related to air pollution.
The outcome of the survey is that not less than 27 lakh people every year will lose their lives due to poisonous air. The death number highlights the issue which we bat a bling eye at.
The count of deaths due to air pollution in India is increasing constantly with each year passing. In 2017, more than 1.2 million people have lost their lives by exposure to outdoor air pollution.
The interdisciplinary journal Lancet Planetary Health in its reports said that in 2019 more than 1.7 million people in India lost their lives to air pollution, the second-highest in Asian countries.
Several surveys have termed, the national capital Delhi, Ghaziabad, and Lucknow are among the 21 cities in India. These 21 Indian cities have found place in the list of 30 most polluted cities in the world.
