Facebook Trending Box To Vanish Soon

Facebook Trending News Box is going to be a thing of past. Yes, The Social Networking Giant has decided to scrap it next week.
Way back in 2014, Facebook introduced trending option on its platform to bring the latest happenings across the World to the notice of its users. This option was active only in 5 countries. On an average, It fetched just 1.5 percent of clicks.
Often, Facebook faced criticism over the authenticity of the news being displayed in the Tending Box. Other drawbacks could be lagging behind the pace at which Twitter delivers trending news.
Facebook hardly managed to increase its pace over the years. Currently, Experts have been considering introduction of Breaking News or Local Stories Labels in place of Trending Box.
