Facts behind YSR Congress defeat in 2014 Polls

YSR Congress fire brand leader Ambati Rambabu opened up on the unfavourable results in 2014 General Elections.

Ambati didn't mince words when quizzed about the reasons behind the poll debacle. He said "Over-Confidence led to the defeat of YSR Congress. Party also over estimated the charisma of YS Jagan and completely ignored the drop in popularity ever since he got released from the jail".

Prior to the poll, Jagan was very much confident that he would become the chief minister of state whenever elections happen. His dreams were shattered with the shocking mandate given by the voters.

While Chandrababu who is very good at management united all the forces to comeback to power, Jagan on the other hand bitten dust due to his over confidence. The result could been different had if he noticed the changing trend or taken the senior party leaders into confidence.
