Family of Five gets Rs 55 crore Electricity Bill

Family of Krishna Prasad who is a native of Ranchi got the shock of their life when their Electricity Bill went up to Rs 55 crore.
Krishna Prasad and four other members of his family live in a 2-bedroom house in Kadru area. They don't even use an Air Conditioner and there is a power cut of nearly 8 hours in his place. Still, An electricity bill of Rs 55 crore is all what he received.
Upon watching the bill delivered to their house, Krishna Prasad's Mother was shell shocked and had to be taken to a doctor immediately. He complains his mother could have died because of the blunder committed and he threatens to take people responsible to the court.
Jharkhand Electricity Department has already suspended two employees who are behind the clerical error. Officials have ordered for an enquiry into the incident.
