Famous temple lights moksha deepam mourning Bipin's death

The famous Sri Kamakshi Ambal temple in Kanchi of Tamil Nadu paid a tribute to Bipin Rawat and others who passed away in a chopper crash by lighting the Moksha deepam in the temple. The temple authorities said the deepam was lit so that the deceased would get a mukti.
The Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam that made arrangements for the moksha deepam said that it was unfortunate to lose General Bipin Rawat and called it a big loss. Remembering the service he made to the nation by holding various positions said that the decision was taken to condole his death.
"It is extremely unfortunate to know about the untimely demise of the Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat, Mrs Rawat and other members and officials of the armed forces. It is a great loss for the entire nation," Kanchi Matam said in a release.
Adding further, the temple body said that the Moksha deepam was lit to pray for the mukti of the deceased. We pray for the mukti of the deceased and strength for the family members of the deceased to deal with the sad news, the matham said.
On the other hand, condolences are pouring for Bipin Rawat and others. Parliament paid tributes to the deceased and the Centre said that the last rites of the deceased would be done as per the army honors.
