Fancy Number 9999 was allotted for Rs. 3.51 lakhs at the auction held by the transport department on Friday.
Some of the numbers that were auctioned for huge amounts are:
AP31DA 9999 for Rs. 3.51 lakh,
Single number 1 was allotted for Rs. 1.10 lakh, 7 for Rs. 90,300 and 9 for Rs. 1.17 lakh.
The number 9999 was allotted for Rs 2.85 lakh in the last edition of auctions.
RTA auctions are fetching a fortune for fancy numbers. The transport department netted Rs. 10.20 lakh in a single day during the auction of fancy numbers. There a near stampede among vehicle owners during the auction.
