But the fans are in no mood to accept the bitter truth and constantly keeping pressure on the Super Star to reverse his decision and venture into electoral politics
As a bid to request their idol to reverse his decision, his fan club members held a peaceful protest in Chennai urging him to not take a back step from joining the politics.
Though the Rajini Makkal Mandram (RMM) has warned the fans and fan club members to not hold such protests and respect Thalaivar’s decision, some members held the demonstration on Sunday.
It is said that Thalaivar's decision to not venture into politics resulted in unrest within the Rajini Makkal Mandram (RMM). While a section of the body welcomed Rajini's decision, a section was reportedly shocked with the development.
On the 29th of December, Thalaivar took to Twitter and shared a letter to announce his decision to not enter politics. He cited his health condition as the main reason behind the decision.
