Now Farmers can buy seeds with Rs 500 Notes

Centre has been facing immense pressure from general public and opposition parties since the announcement of demonetization. Hence, Few exemptions were given to the people after taking the demands into consideration.
Today, Centre permitted Farmers to purchase seeds from State and Central Government Outlets using old Rs 500 notes. Farmers need to submit their identity proofs to buy the seeds using banned currency. They can also obtain the seeds from PSUs, State or Central-run Seeds Corporations, State or Central-run Agricultural Universities.
Actually, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley rejected the same proposal when Agricultural Ministry suggested it few days back. He, however, succumbed to pressure from all corners now.
If the reports are to be believed, Over 50 people have died till date after announcement of demonetization. While few committed suicide, Others passed away while standing in queues before banks & ATMs.
