Father held for raping daughter repeatedly

In what can be termed as a Ghastly incident, A 40 years old man has been jailed for repeatedly raping his 11-year-old daughter and threatening her not to disclose the incident to anyone.
The man was from South DelhiÂ’s Malviya Nagar and he is raping the girl for about 3 months now. The alleged sexual assault came to light after the girl and his mother informed the police. The childÂ’s mother told police her husband had been raping the girl for the last three months. The accused was a tailor and has four daughters and one son.
According to the victimÂ’s statement, the accused used to call her every night and asked for a foot massage and took chance rape her. When others were sleeping in the same room, he raped her inside the quilt.
The police have filed a case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offence; they say they are waiting for the result of the medical examination to take the case forward.
Meanwhile, another incident of a four-year-old being raped was reported from Central Delhi.. Police apprehended a 16-year-old juvenile, who was the girlÂ’s neighbour.
