With the assembly having concluded the debate on the Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Bill, the focus has shifted to Delhi with the overwhelming question: will Telangana be created before the general elections this year?
Yes..If all goes as expected the new state will comes to reality on Feb 15
As per reports from New Delhi political sources, Telangana Bill will be passed soon and we are only having 10 days to live in United Andhra Pradesh.
According to sources, Telangana Bill is most likely to be sent to President Pranab Mukherjee on February 7th for approval. Later, it will be first tabled in Rajya Sabha on February 10th. The same will moved to Lok Sabha on February 13th. The tabling of Bill is set to be stormy due to opposition from Seemandhra MPs.
The central government is in urge of passing the bill and most likely the final approval will happen on Feb 15th which might be called as Telangana formation day
It was also said that the general elections will be held separately in the two new states of Telangana and residuary state of Andhra Pradesh. The Telangana has 119 and AP 175 constituencies.
