Female racer joins BJP, supporters say she could be a honeytrap

Prominent female bike racer Alisha Abdullah has created quite a sensation when she has joined the BJP. Alisha, a resident of Tamil Nadu took the party membership and said she was very happy at joining the BJP. She said she has accepted the appeals by Tamil Nadu BJP chief Annamalai and party leader Amarnath Reddy.
Alisha, who broke the glass ceiling by becoming the first national champion in racing, is also a muslim. Her joining the BJP and feeling happy about it has become a hot news in Tamil Nadu, which is avowedly Dravidian in nature. Alisha herself broke the news of her joining the BJP through a tweet.
She said in her tweet: I am happy to be a part of the @BJP4TamilNadu family. The reason I wanted to be a part of BJP is because of the recognition and respect @annamalai_Kuppusamy sir and amarprasadreddyofficial has for me. I promise to do my best to uplift more women.
Tamil Nadu BJP chief Annamalai congratulated Alisha on joining the party. He said in a tweet that she was an inspiring woman who had broken barriers in a sport dominated by men, she has left an indelible mark in her chosen racing career. However, several BJP supporters pointed out that she has recently praised Stalin and that she could be a honeytrap.
