The face-off between TRS and BJP over the paddy procurement is still going on as the Telangana government is keeping its fight against the Union government in achieving the demands for the state. The Parliamentarians of the TRS party are keeping the flame burning in the fight.

As a bid to keep up the tough fight, the TRS MPs are said to be absent on the first day of the budget session. The MPs have skipped President Ramnath Kovind’s address for Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. It is said that they did it by the instructions they received.

It has been widely reported that the ruling party MPs did it to raise the voice against the Union government for not giving importance to Telangana in granting the funds and releasing funds under various projects.

The MPs did so after the same was reportedly decided at the key meeting chaired by Chief Minister KCR. During the meeting, the MPs were directed by KCR on how to go ahead in the fight and as per the instructions, the MPs have collectively boycotted the President’s address on the eve of budget sessions.

Going by the media reports, the fight against the Centre for the interests of Telangana is likely to go in a way that the MPs of both houses will attend the budget sessions and will make the best use of the sessions by raising the issues that are concerned for the state.

The TRS had applied a similar strategy while fighting for the paddy issue in the previous Parliament sessions. Raising the issues, the members of the house, the TRS MP's have boycotted the sessions.

The Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) MPs have lashed out at the Centre on the paddy and other issues faced by the farmers. Holding placards on Rabhi crop and a policy for the procurement of national food grain, the MPs have boycotted the Winter sessions of Parliament.

Unlike the previous time, the TRS MPs are now gearing up to fight for the demand and interests of Telangana by raising the issues during the sessions rather than boycotting the sessions.
