Finally, Delhi Cops Locate Tabligh Chief's Hiding Place

Finally, the Delhi police have located the chief of Tablighi Jamaat, the organisation primarily held responsible for the spurt in the Corona cases in the country. Tabligh chief Maulana Saad Kandhlawi, against whom the police have already filed several cases for his role in holding a meeting of over 22000 people in Delhi's Markaz Nizamuddin for three days starting from March 13, has been found to be hiding in Zakir Nagar.
The police, who have conducted searches in Muzaffar Nagar, Shamli and other places in Uttar Pradesh, were tipped off that he was hiding in Zakirnagar. Sources close to him said that he was in self-quarantine. The police said that despite several requests from the leaders within the Islamic community, Moulana Saad did not listen and went ahead with the meeting in times of corona crisis. Sources said that even the police have requested him to call off the gathering. But, Saad did not listen.
Sources say that Saad is already having a running feud with some of the members of his advisory board and blindly opposed their suggestions to call off the meeting. A section of the Taglighis are also said to be upset with Moulana Saad for his adamant attitude.
