Prime Minister Narendra Modi's proposed Financial Resolution & Deposit Insurance Bill 2017 is worrying the common man now. People in towns like Warangal have been withdrawing cash from their bank accounts all of a sudden suspecting Government could use their money. This trend is noticed in Warangal, Khazipet and Hanamkonda.
In a span of one week, Rs 3 crore has been withdrawn from a bank near Mandi Bazaar in Warangal. Depositors have been forming queues in the banks for taking back their hard-earned moony. Most of them have been Middle Class and Upper Middle Class People.
Bankers have been appealing people not to believe the rumours in circulation on social media. They are assuring that there is no harm to the deposits made in the banks. Whereas, Many of the people are not paying heed because of the past experience with reforms like Demonetisation. Bank Officials have been appealing Centre to make a statement to clear all the doubts over the deposits.
