Breaking: FIR filed against Chalapathi Rao!
By: Tupaki Desk | 24 May 2017 6:08 AM GMTSenior Actor Chalapathi Rao seems to have invited trouble by making such comments in public. He has always been known for making some or the other kind of sexist comments in audio functions and film press meets but this time the actor seems to be going in a long haul of legal battles too.
Many human activist Organizations and Lady rights protection organizations have demanded an apology from the actor and even Movie Artists Association, warned him for his comments asking him to save his reputation as a senior actor and also asked him to be vigilante about his stature in the Film Industry before commenting in public as that would degrade the entire Telugu Film Industry's reputation in the National Media. Even the organizers of the function, Nagarjuna and his team have disowned his comments and Nagarjuna even said that he condemns such statements and everyone should too.
Well, now the senior actor Chalapathi Rao is booked under section 354 a (IV), 509 IPC at Saroor Nagar Police Stn for controversial remark on women. According to the law, if court deems him guilty he might have to face imprisonment for few months. But as the actor already gave an apology the court might consider issuing a strong warning and a cash penalty if the case goes to court.
