FIR registered against Akbaruddin Owaisi

MIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi landed in trouble for objectionable remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi accusing his involvement in 2002 Gujarat riots.
Addressing the gathering in a election rally held at Muslim-dominant Kishanganj district in Bihar ahead of Assembly polls on Sunday, Akbaruddin Owaisi commented: "Modi is a zalim and shaitan. No one other than him is responsible for 2002 Gujarat riots".
A case under various sections of Indian Penal Code has been registered against Akbaruddin Owaisi at Kishanganj Police Station. Police Higher Officials have ordered for the arrest of the MIM Legislator.
MIM has been contesting in 20 Constituencies where Muslim population is high in the Bihar Assembly polls.
