First -ever ATMs with Facial Recognition launched

Seems like, China is heading towards implementing card-less banking services all over the Country.
China Merchants Bank launched ATM Machines equipped with Facial Recognition Technology in three cities (Shenzhen, Nanjing and Qingdao) across the World's most populous nation. It’s a first of its kind Cash Machine and about 10 machines were currently in use. More such ATMs will be available in the coming months depending upon the feedback & demand.
These Clever Cash Machines scan the User's Facial Features to verify with his/her Account. Hence, There is absolutely no requirement of carrying the cards in one's pocket. Even Twins can be distinguished as the Visual Image Processing Technology captures several parts of the face. These ATM were promoted with the Ad Campaigns inviting People to withdraw money using their Faces.
Use of such ATMs have its share of drawbacks. Users have to enter their mobile number & password to withdraw money.
